| Scope | Advanced probes and new fabrication techniques enable Nanomaterials to pervade multiple disciplines, including physics, chemistry, engineering and biology. Nanomaterials have been extensively investigated with many kinds of morphologies (quantum dots, wires, rings, tubes, cones, etc.) and compositions (semiconductor, carbon, ferroic materials, etc.). Despite continued advancements in various aspects of functional Nanomaterials, numerous challenges remain to be addressed at different stages on their way towards applications. This symposium aims to stimulate interaction and build momentum among a diverse of Nanomaterials experts working on directed assembly and synthesis, structure and property characterization, and Nanoscale device concepts and performances. Papers on both experimental and theoretical investigations of related topics are solicited. Organizers are planning on pursuing publication in the Journal of Electronic Materials. Please contact organizers for more information regarding submission deadlines/requirements. |
