	The Arkansas Women's Lacrosse Team is a club sport at the University of Arkansas . Club sports are organizations that give college students the opportunity to play their chosen sport at a highly competitive level . Welcome! ...and thanks for being interested in playing on the University of Arkansas (U of A) Women's Lacrosse Team! We are a brand new club team at the university this year. We are also the FIRST women's lacrosse team to be organized in the whole state of Arkansas !!! Those of you who play will be considered PIONEERS from this point forward. How exciting to see such growth take place right before your eyes. After all, Lacrosse is one of the fastest growing sports in America . We welcome freshman and upperclassman, experienced and brand-new players who have never held a stick before to come out for the team. We currently have a "no-cut" policy and are very eager to introduce the sport to new players or to just help you improve your game. We strongly believe that any one has the ability to pick up a stick and learn to play a sport if one puts their mind to it. We are a very open, friendly team and would love to meet you.
