- Are between 5 and 7 typed, double-spaced pages.
- These essays should engage with the major themes and topics of the
readings in a critical fashion. Choose a theme and develop it, engage
with it, analyze it. If you cannot find a theme that links the two books,
then choose two different themes, one for each book.
- Your essay must, at the minimum, deal with BOTH books. If other readings
(or films) are relevant to the topic you choose, you must refer to them
as well.
