Do some of these names look familiar? They should. Kate Jackson was a regular on The Rookies (1972-1976) and one of the original Charlie's Angels (1976-1979). After Scarecrow , she was in a short lived series called Baby Boom . Bruce Boxleitner was a regular on How The West Was Won (1978-1979) and Bring 'Em Back Alive (1982-1983). He's been in lots of TV movies, and is now a regular on Babylon 5 . Beverly Garland has been a regular on lots of TV series, including My Three Sons (1969-1972). She also played Laura Holt's mother on Remington Steele , and is currently in a recurring role as Lois' mother on Lois and Clark . Mel Stewart, too, has been a regular on many shows, including All In The Family (1971-1973) and Tabitha (1977-1978). Martha Smith can be seen in the movie Animal House.

Sam Melville, who played Joe King (Amanda's ex-husband) during the third and fourth seasons, played Kate Jackson's husband in The Rookies (ABC 1972-76). He also played a bad guy (Glen Tucker) in the second season Scarecrow episode "Murder Between Friends".

Scarecrow and Mrs King was created by Brad Buckner and Eugenie Ross-Leming, and is a Shoot The Moon production, in conjunction with Warner Bros. Shoot The Moon was Kate Jackson's own production company. Scarecrow was filmed at The Burbank Studios in Burbank, California.
