Service to the Bands

The Psi chapter at the University of Arkansas has many duties they fulfill throughout the year. Most of those duties are related to the University of Arkansas band programs, both marching band and concert bands. In the Fall Psi provides water at every rehearsal for band members as well as at the football games the band plays at. We also provide activities to the band with the help of our brother chapter Lambda in Kappa Kappa Psi. Some of these events include socials, dances, and ice cream/dessert parties. During concert band season we provide receptions immediately following all of the concerts for the participants and their families in attendance. We also provide health kits and water at basketball games in Bud Walton Arena during basketball season.

Service to the Community

Throughout the year we also provide services to our community. We hold many fundraisers throughout the year from penny wars to "march-a-spot" that provide a lot of money that we can donate and use towards our programs. Along with our brothers of Lambda we provide pep bands for small local high school bands as well as at events in the community such as grand openings, local charity events, and students in elementary schools through high schools.

We are always working on new programs for the community and our band program. We live to serve, and we love to do so!
