Raymond got awarded with a Queens University Fellowship and an NSF graduate student fellowship. He started a PhD about the changes of ice-cover along the ice road in Canada in collaboration with Dr. Helen Roe and Dr. Tim Patterson in Fall 2010

Thesis: A 15,000-year reconstruction of paleolimnological change through diatom assemblage biostratigraphy of Greyling Lake, Chugach Range, south-central Alaska.

Dr. Jessica Black
PostDoc at UA Paleolimnology Group January 2008 to January 2010
Jessica studied the diatom stratigraphy of Pingualuit.  Now Jessica is analyzing oxygen isotopes from diatom frustules to reconstruct past climate from a couple of alpine lakes.



Jessica moved from France to Florida in July 2011 to start a postdoc with Tom Whitmore.
