About the Author.

 Lothar Schäfer is Distinguished Professor of Physical Chemistry at the University of Arkansas. He was born in Düsseldorf, Germany, and received his PhD in chemistry from the University of Munich. His research interests include topics in Applied Quantum Chemistry and Molecular Structural Studies by Electron Diffraction.
