NOTES ON GRADING POLICY FOR THIS COURSE
Your grade for this course will be determined by your performance on the examinations. There will be five regular exams administered during the semester and a final examination during the final exam period. You will be permitted to drop the lowest score of the 5 regular exams. All students will be required to take the final exam, and your score on the final will be used in tabulating your final grade. The relative value of each exam with respect to your final grade is presented below:
Exam I 1200 points 17.6% Exam II 1200 points 17.6% Exam III 1200 points 17.6% Exam IV 1200 points 17.6% Exam V 1200 points 17.6% Final Exam 2000 points 29.5% Comprehensive!
- Exams will be multiple choice;
- Make-up exams will NOT be permitted except in the most extraordinary circumstances;
- A missed exam will default to your lowest score and be dropped.
Finally, you may expect grades to be determined according to the following guidelines:
| A | 90% or better |
| B | 89% - 80% |
| C | 79% - 70% |
| D | 69% - 60% |
| 59% or below |

NOTES ON RELIGIOUS OBSERVANCES DURING THIS COURSE
The University of Arkansas does not observe religious holidays.
