What is not good without qualification:

• Gifts of Nature
  • Talents of the Mind
    E.g. intelligence, wit, judgment
  • Qualities of Temperament
    E.g. courage, resolution, perseverance
• Gifts of Fortune
  E.g. power, riches, honor, health, general well-being and contentment with one's conditions (happiness)
