Examples of Claims of Normative Ethics:

• It is wrong to have extramarital sexual relations.
• Lying is wrong.
• Mother Theresa was a morally good person.
• You should treat others as you wish others would treat you.
• People who are unable to survive in society without help from others should be left to die.
• We should adopt an attitude of tolerance toward the practices of other cultures.
