Descriptive Ethics

Arkansans in general think capital punishment is morally permissible.
The Greeks believed it was wrong to eat the dead.
The Pope thinks that it is wrong to use artificial means of birth control.
Prof. Lee thinks it is morally wrong for students to cheat on class examinations and assignments.
Many people in the United States today think that Clinton's conduct with Monica Lewinsky was morally despicable.
Different societies have different moral codes.
