Pat is one of my enduring relationships. I met her during graduate school - the summer of 1993, to be exact - and have been friends with her since.
We have traveled together, laughed together, created chaos together, and gotten through chaos together now for many, many years. Her home and her friendship have served as a respite for me at various times in my life - and for this, I will always be grateful. I consider her a Best Friend, an inspiration, and one of the loves of my life.
She is unique, strong, and amazing. She is beautiful, graceful. She has been incredible to watch and to be with, and I know I have been blessed in so many ways by her presence in my life.
What more could a person ask for in a friend? She is a PHENOMENAL woman...
