Quick Update

Ubiquitous, obligatory: been a long while since my last addition here. One reason, been in and out of internet connectivity at home. Too bad I run nanoblogger on my home machine. But with a new OS version, my nokia handheld, Ziggy, is working nicely.

Feels like much has changed, which is normal for time's passage, I suppose. School semester just began yesterday. My first school prioity, still thesis.

Far more importantly, in my mind, I've been seeing a great new someone for nearly a month now. And I'm extremely happy with how that is going.

Life has genuinely surprised me with this one. I mean, I knew life was still full of surprises. I've rarely felt so jaded that I would've denied that. So much to learn out there from this travel through existence, and all that. Still... wow. One event, then another, increasing interest and motivation, then actions, and then surprise, someone wonderful in my life and me feeling like I could be the same for them. Thanks life.

In other news, my friend C.D. got married (so perhaps it is C.H. now), although, regretfully, I did not attend. Poor move, past Phil.

The Perseids were something of a washout this year. By which I mean we saw as many man-made satellites as meteors. Oh well, there are more rocks to fall upon our pleasant planet some other time. I hope the same "we" is there to see some of them, as everything else about the meteor-watch was perfect.

And speaking of things off-planet (i.e. 'out of this world'), "nice find" to these folks.
