We wanted to give a presentation to the board of Butterfield Trail Village. We were refused. We were invited by some of the residents to give a presentation to the residents. The administration of Butterfield Trail Village refused to permit such a presentation.
We have good information. I, for one, have done a lot of work on this, and I'm not about to just throw it all away. So here it is online for anyone to see: Butterfield Trail Village, Fayetteville, Arkansas, should reconsider its no-pets policy.
There is more information on all the dogs.
By the way, I set up and for years maintained a website for the Fayetteville Animal Shelter. Much of that site has been incorporated into the city's website.
As for the human . . .
. . . here's Richard Covey, my husband, roasting green chiles and other veg. Scrumptious stuff.
Covey likes old cars. Here he is trading a nearly-restored Model T pickup (already on the trailer) for a rusty old Model A Coupe. Also shown are his car mentor Bill and Bill's son.
My idea of fun and games on vacation is to follow the Ozark Trail (the Ozark Trail Association was the topic of my master's thesis).
If you want to see what else I have been/am involved in (aside from the old Animal Shelter website, also linked above), see parts of the University of Arkansas Libraries, Special Collections, home page, which I did quite a lot of work on (including translating "The Fulbright Program, 1946-1996" from a gallery exhibit to an online exhibit). I also set up and have maintained the website of the Friends of the Fayetteville Public Library and have done work on the Big As TEXAS website for my sister.
Here's a picture of the university library. Actually it was taken during construction, but I removed a crane. Also removed a lamppost that seemed to be in the way. Also vignetted the thing. Aren't computers wonderful?
