I
was born and raised in
Poteau,
Oklahoma, a small town in
the eastern part of the state about 100 miles southeast of
Tulsa. I
attended high school there and later graduated from the University of
Oklahoma in Norman (Boomer Sooner)
with
a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration. After leaving OU, I returned home to Poteau where for the past six-and-a-half years, I have managed the John Deere dealership our family has owned since 1977. I am also an active sports official, having worked games in high school and college softball, football, and basketball since 2001; additionally, I am currently serving my second term as President of the Green Country Basketball Officials Association. |
