According to education research, when students have copies of a teacher's Power Point notes they digest less of the material.  It seems that the act of writing notes enhances learning. For that reason, I do not give out my Power Points.  There are times, however,  when there are diagrams, charts, etc. that may be helpful, in those cases,  I send out the slides that contains this information.
