Lynn Meade Bio Dr. Lynn Meade is an instructor of Communication at the University of Arkansas. She has a doctoral degree in Higher Education Leadership and College teaching and a Master’s degree in Communication. She has taught communication skills for over 11 years teaching subjects such as Public Speaking, Persuasion, Small Group Communication, and Nonverbal Communication. Her professional writing includes a Communication textbook, a book chapter on Students with Disabilities, an article on assessment practices, and a recent paper on parenting a child with ADD. In addition to her academic work, she has been a spokesperson for a nonprofit organization, a professional sales representative, and a marketing director. For Dr. Meade, teaching is more than a profession, it is a passion. When she’s not teaching, she pursues her other passions -- playing in the flower garden, searching for the perfect rock, and sharing the simple joys with her husband and two sons.
