I am a cognitive psychologist and director of the Psychology and Law Lab at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville Arkansas.  I was born in the Chicago area and lived in that area for the majority of my life.  I received my Ph.D. in cognitive psychology from Northwestern University in 1996.  This was the same year that Northwestern went to the Rose Bowl.  My mentor at Northwestern was Jeremiah Faries.  I then spent two years as a postdoctoral fellow at the State University of New York at Binghamton where I worked with David G. Payne.  I joined the faculty at the University of Arkansas in 1998.  To learn more about me click on the links to the right. I also have an “official page” maintained by the Psychology Department.
