SCHOLARSHIP

The men of Kappa Sigma here at "Fabulous" Xi realize that college is first and foremost about getting an education, and that everything else is secondary. We have proven that this is true with our exemplary perfomance in academics. Kappa Sigma has had the highest fraternity GPA for the past two years in a row, and achievment which we are very proud of.

The academic success of Kappa Sigma would not be possible without the scholarship program provided for its members and pledges. this effort is a success due to the conjunctive efforts of dedicated brothers and alumni. Each semester a scholarship chairman is elected by the chapter and is responsible for keeping and updating the Kappa Sigma tutor and test files. Any member or pledge of Kappa Sigma who needs help in any class that he is enrolled in will receive unlimited hours tutoring with a private tutor free of charge. This is made possible by the generous donations given by alumni members of Kappa Sigma to the scholarship program. Kappa Sigma also offers an academic advisory committee, whic is designed to help pledges with their transition from high school to college. This program pairs each new pledge with an upperclassman in the same major to help guide the pledge through his first few semesters at the U of A. By giving experienced advice about professors and classes the upperclassman is a huge asset to the pledge during registration and throughout the semester.

This was an outstanding year academically and socially for Fabulous Xi; with the chapter's continued dedication to excellence and the support of our alumni, we look forward to many more great accomplishments in the future.
