Selections on the
Psychology of Learning

"It is time to recognize the fact that the study of education, in spite of all the advances that have been made, must necessarily suffer from a certain futility and triviality if we persistently disregard the deeper issues." (Bode, 1929, pg. 301.)

This website is designed to provide insight into the work of some of the most notable researchers in learning theory by introducing a portion of their work directly. The section on theory includes a listing of theories and concepts. Each theory page includes quotations related to some aspect of that theory. The section on theorists provides a cross-reference to the quotations on each theory page. The additional resources page provides links to other sites on the psychology of learning and learning theory.
