Abstract

The one-dimensional bar and beam element learning modules were developed and implemented into the Finite Element Method universal resource (FEMur) homepage, which provides courseware and other resources for the introduction of FEM to students, teachers, and engineers. These modules will be used as an educational supplement by a consortium of schools in 1997.
