Jing Yang is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at the University of Arkansas. Prior to joining UArk in August 2012, she was a research associate in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She obtained her PhD degree from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Maryland, College Park in 2010, and B.S. in Electronic Engineering and Information Science from the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) in 2004.


Her current research interests include statistical signal processing and learning theory, high-dimensional graphical models and their applications, energy harvesting communication systems, scheduling and resource management in networked systems, wireless communication theory, and information theory.
