A Little About Fayetteville
Fayetteville is a medium sized city with a small population. Fayetteville, along with the neighboring cities of Springdale and Rogers forms the hub called the NorthWest Arkansas Business District. We are serviced by two airports, the old Fayettevilleairport (FYV) and the new NorthWest Arkansas Regional airport (XNA), which is about 40 minutes away from campus. We suggest you to also visit http://www.fayetteville.com for more information.
Note: Sometimes Fayetteville, Arkansas( which is us) is
confused with Fayetteville, North Carolina. So be warned!

Living in the University
The University of Arkansas, established in 1871, currently has approx. 16000 students enrolled in it. The medium sized campus extends over 420 acres. To read more about it click here. The University has 11 on-campus living facilities called Residence Halls (or dorms by students) and 2 University apartments, that are considered off-campus. Apart from these, there are other off campus apartments (furnished or unfurnished) that you can rent for a semester or a year. The rent and utilities for these apartments usually works out to be about $400+ per month. It may be cheaper to stay off campus, as being an on-campus resident requires you to have a meal plan and you cannot cook.
