My name is Veronikha and was born in Chiclayo (North-Western part of Perú). Many people consider Perú Musically " A Living Jewel". Not just for the music but because of the instruments that are used to play our music.

In Perú we have two official languages Spanish (official), Quechua (official), and many dialects, Aymara among them. Our government type is constitutional republic. Its capital is Lima. We celebrate our Independence Day on July 28th.

Typical Peruvian dishes are tasty and vary regionally. Seafood is, understandably, best on the coast, while the Inca delicacy - roast guinea pig - can be sampled in the highlands.
