My name is Saad. I am from India. My home town is called Aligarh. It is in the northern part of the country quite close to the capital New Delhi. It is about 120 km from New Delhi. My native language is Hindi but I am not a Hindu by religion, I am a Muslim. Muslims are the largest minority population in India besides Sikhs, Christians, and Buddhists etc. In the part of the country I live in, we have quite harsh summers and harsh winters as well. During rainy season it rains heavily.   My favorite dish is Chicken Tikka. It is chicken roasted on fire with lots of spices. I like it very much!!!!! My favorite holiday is the Muslim festival of Id ul fitr. Muslims celebrate this festival after the end of the month of Ramadan. During the month of Ramadan we fast from dawn till sunset every day and after the month is over we celebrate Id ul fitr, when we eat a lot of sweets and exchange presents.
