I like to follow the news from around the world and read, listen and watch world events. I am a big fan of soccer and like to play and watch soccer games. I enjoy going to movies. The Eid-Al-Adha, festival of sacrifice for the Muslims, is the day on which lams are sacrificed and the meat distributed among the poor. Families get together, visit each others and exchange gifts. My name is Ghazi, and I am married to Maryam. We have two daughters, Shahd who is 5 and Ahya who is a year old. My wife and I are working towards our PhD in Industrial Engineering and Computer Science respectively at the University of Arkansas We are from Jordan, and we live in a town called Ballila near the famous ancient Roman city called Jerash. Jordan has very pleasant weather with four seasons. Our lingua franca is Arabic and we follow Islam. Mansaf is one of the famous foods from Jordan. It is prepared during weddings and other occasions. It has lamb, rice, cooked yogurt, almonds (pine), and parsley. It is usually eaten by hand (no spoon).
