My name is Dewi and I am an Indonesian. I was born in Medan, in the north of Sumatra island which is one of five big islands in Indonesia. I am a graduate student in the Electrical Engineering department, majoring in Telecommunication Engineering.

About my Clothes:

Top: It is one of most common traditional cloth for woman that can be worn daily. It is called baju kurung. It may come in any color and embroidery pattern. Traditionally, baju kurung is worn with sarong songket or batik on the bottom. But nowadays, people also wear baju kurung with a skirt or pant.

Bottom: sarong songket. It is a hand woven tubular cloth made of silk and golden thread. It may have various kinds of patterns depending on which part of Indonesia it is made. The most common color of songket is red.
