On March 6, 2007, Jasmine Merced-Ownbey and Alex Simpson went to Holt Middle School to read Cattus Petasatus (the Cat in the Hat in Latin) to the Gifted and Talented students. A hugely successful affair, the kids were not only introduced to Latin, but they were extremely enthusiastic and all tried their hand at reading it as well. (Hits: 1089)
