Please give the answers to the proper number of significant figures. (b) Assuming the width of the belt is 2.54 cm, what is the area of the belt? (c) assuming the belt is 0.4 cm thick, what is the volume of the belt?
2)The average radius of the earth is 6371 ± 0.4 km, measured from the center of the earth to sea level. Suppose we are 1234 ft above sea level. How far are we from the center of the earth? Remember 1 in = 2.54 cm exactly.
