Hello everyone. As the autumn term approaches, I thought I would refresh this website with some new information as well as get rid of the old information. I hope you all had a wonderful summer holiday and continue to have one. Here are some things that have been going on with CSA over the summer.
-
Caribbean Cruise: sponsered by ISS (International Scholars & Students). This will be a big event for the Caribbean Students on campus. As much as I would love to talk more about it, I do not have the permission, nor in-depth knowledge about this event. I just wanted to let you know so you can get excited about it. We have not been playing all summer :-)
-
We are also getting prepared for International Students Orientation. We will have a few people in Fayetteville at that time. We are planning on having someone around the Orientation event in order to notify those (Caribbean or non-Caribbean) about CSA.

We are working on a new logo as well. This would allow CSA to be attached to an image, which is much easier and longer lasting at the end of the day. I will be using this to replace the image we presently have at the top of our website.
Some of my goals for this website will include
more frequent updates. I want to make this website as eye
pleasing as possible. At the same time, I would like to
incorporate more things on it such that it can be a one stop
place to get information you need, or at least pointed in the
direction. How do I plan on doing this?
+news feeds from different countries in the Caribbean, +links
and info to scholarship offers (Arkansas as well as
third-parties), +important info from the UofA: includes
registration, immigration matters, weather, not including a
lot of details on the main page, etc.
All of this I will try to implement as best as I could. I know there has been requests to incorporate the Old Main symbol and the razorback. I am still uncertain how to go about this without knowing what the CSA logo will look like. More than likely, the CSA logo will dictate what colours I will use throughout the website. Until, I would appreciate more of your input of how this website can better serve you and others.
Thank you.
