A Taste of Thai  
Addr: 31 E. Center St. The math department favorite, located less than 100m east of the hotel Raddison. Great tasting Thai food at very affordable prices. This is a popular restaurant which doesn't take reservations, so you may have to wait for a table on Friday and Saturday nights. But the wait is not usually too long and it is worth stickin' around. Lunchtime price range is $5.50 - $7.50 for an entree depending on choice of meat or seafood. Evening range is $9.00 - $14.00, with appetizers (Summer Rolls and Chicken Satay are fab!) at around $5.00. And don't forget dessert - mango and sticky rice is the recommendation!

Addr: Student Union on Campus Standard on-campus cafeteria fast-food. Options include burgers, chicken sandwiches, hot or cold subs, a salad bar, soups, pizza, sushi. There is also a coffee shop inside this building.

Arsaga's Espresso Cafe  
Addr: 116 N Block St. Located just two blocks north of the square towards Dickson Street, Arsaga's Espresso Cafe is a great place to grab a morning coffee or tea and relax outside in the funky patio area (not much seating room inside). The bakery offers fresh pastries, cookies, brownies, quiche, pies and biscotti. Morning and afternoon teas at the lecture series will be catered by Arsaga's.

Bordinos  
Addr: 324 W. Dickson St. Located just off Dickson Street behind Jose's Mexican Restaurant. Bordinos offers distinctive northern Italian cuisine in a dimly lit intimate atmosphere (note the low pencil rating!!) and has the reputation of being one of Fayetteville's best restaurants. The Italians in the department give this place two thumbs up which is high praise indeed. The main meals are quite expensive but there are cheaper pasta options for the budget conscious people.

Addr: 309 W. Dickson St. Emelia's is located on Fayetteville's historic Dickson Street. The restaurant has an offering of relatively low priced and delicious Mediterranean food. It is a good place for lunch if not in a big rush.

Addr: 465 N. Arkansas Ave. Ella's is located in a historical building Carnal Hall on the University of Arkansas campus. The wide variety of Northern Italian cuisine offered is both elegantly presented and delicious. Ella's is a bit pricy but the food is worth it. Entrees range from $12 to $27. Sandwitches and pizzas are around $10. Also offering breakfast from Monday through Friday 7 am - 10 am. (Continental breakfast: 7:30 am - 10 am on Saturday and Sunday.)

Addr: 430 W. Dickson St. The Hog Haus Company is located on Fayetteville's entertainment strip, Dickson Street, right across the street from the Walton Art Center. A wide variety of food is offered, burgers, steak, pasta and salads, together with a range of specialty beers brewed onsite. The atmosphere is warm and jovial, so stop in and enjoy a brew for a break or at the end of a day.

Addr: 24 1/2 N Block St. Hugos and its below ground location is a Fayetteville tradition. They serve a good range of hamburgers, steaks, sandwiches and salads and yummy french fries in a casual atmosphere. The bar offers an extensive range of beers. This is a good place to visit, even if you only stop by for a drink.

Addr: 22 West Mountain, Suite 228 Breakfast items include pastries, muffins, bagels and a fruit bowl. They do great build your own sandwiches with Stone Mill Bakery Bread!! Try the cranberry pecan bread if they have it. There is also a variety of fresh salads and soups. Jammin Java, as the name suggests, offers the full range of coffees, espresso, cappuccinos, lattes etc. If it's warm enough give the fruit smoothies a go, the mango has a good reputation!!

Common Grounds  
Addr: Dickson St. Located just two blocks away from the Math Department on Dickson St. Common Grounds is a great place for coffee and tea, mid-day snacks and a simple meals. They have a really wide variety of good food on a reasonable price. It is open early for breakfast and closed late after midnight. A full line coffee drinks and wine list are also available. It is an excellent place for a group of people who don't know exactly where they want to go. But you will always find a comfortable corner even just by yourself. It is extremely slow arround lunch time on Sundays.
