Research in the lab is primarily directed towards conservation genetics and population genetics of pollinators (bumble bees, honey bees). Collaborative research is also conducted on urban pests (termites, bed bugs) and medical/ veterinary pests (mosquitoes, filth flies, tabanid flies, and ticks)
