On November 10, 2007 the Dendrology / Forest Ecology class took a field trip to Mt. Magazine, the highest point in Arkansas.  Follow the link to see some images.
From October 19th to 21st the Dendrology / Forest Ecology class traveled to Cooks Lake in south east Arkansas to study the bottomland hardwood forests.  Follow the link to see some images.
From September 15th to 28th I traveled to St. Petersburg, Russia to present a talk at the XV Congress of European Mycologist.  While there I also traveled to the countryside to collect samples for the isolation of slime molds.
On September 7th Dr. Stephenson and I travel to one of my tall grass study sites in Oklahoma to collect the first set of litter bags for my microhabitat experiment.  Click the image to the left to see some more images.
From August 4th to 10th some members from my lab and I traveled to Baton Rouge, Louisiana to attend the annual meeting of the Mycological Society of America.  It was a very productive trip.
