Meet the Chaplain at the Anglican Campus Ministry.

I am Hugh Strickland, Chaplain of the Anglican Campus Ministry at the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville.

Anglican Campus Ministry and St. Clare's Anglican Chapel

I have been involved with campus ministry since 1995. In 1999 I began this ministry and was ordained a Deacon and then in 2001 a Priest . This is an inclusive ministry within the tradition of Anglican spirituality. We practice and advocate inclusion of all persons in the life of the Church. We pray for the inclusion of all by every Church, and pray our and other examples will be helpful to the changing spirituality of God's people.

This ministry is committed to providing a community whereby all peoples are welcome regardless of gender, marital status, sexual oreintation, age, racial concerns and / or physical challenges. The seven sacraments are available to all persons through discernment and preparation.

I hold a B. A. from Ogelthrope University and a M. S. from Western Pacific University in Environmental Education. I have completed a Certificate in AnglicanTheological Studies from St. Alban's Theological Seminary and the Anglican Institute of Affirmative Christian Studies.

I am available to assist you with any questions at anglican@uark.edu or 501-936-1648 .
