Working on a term paper?

Term papers will probably require a mixture of sources, including but not limited to encyclopedias, dictionaries, books on the topic, and articles on the topic. Listed below are a few ways to get started:

Here's how to find books, using InfoLinks and call numbers, and here's the catalog, itself
You may ask at the Reference Desk for the encyclopedias and dictionaries
You can use the word or words that describe the topic, with the word "encyclopedias" or "dictionaries" as a word search in InfoLinks
Or try the Encyclopedias and Dictionaries page for some online sources that the Libraries' provide.

Use this information about indexes for help on how to find articles on the topic, or use this link to start using indexes to find citations, abstracts, or even some fulltext sources. The reference librarians can help you with this, as well.
