Entries of some of the more heavily used titles will say "Periodicals Desk." The most recent issues of these titles will be held behind the service desk in the Periodicals Room. Trade your student I.D. for these issues; your I.D. will be returned when you return the items to the desk. Ask for them by title, call number, and date.
The microfiche and microfilm collections are also in the Periodicals Room, along with their readers and reader-printers. You can make copies from microfilm or microfiche with these machines. There is a separate room close by with copiers, the VTS machine, and a change machine.
Please note:
Many journals and magazines have their current or most recent issues on the shelves
in the stacks, under the same call number as bound issues of journals. If
a journal or magazine's entry in InfoLinks doesn't say microfilm
or microfiche or Periodicals Room or PER-, or electronic resource or internet
resource, then the issues will be on the shelves, by call number and date
if we own it.
If you have other questions, ask at the Reference Desk, by
email at refer@uark.edu or phone 479-575-6645.
