How to Check
out Books in Mullins Library
The Circulation Desk
is on Level 2 in Mullins Library. Check out books by bringing the item(s) to the
Circulation Desk, with your student ID., which is your library card. The library
staff will use the computer to link the records of the books with your name and
address record.
Even though you
trust your friends, don't let them use books that are checked out against your
name except under your care, or check out books using your I.D. card. If they
lose them or damage them, you will still be responsible for them. If you wouldn't
send them to the department store with your credit cards, don't lend them your
I.D. card.
Use common sense
to protect the materials. Don't leave them on the window sill, don't use salami
as a book mark, and don't lay them flat on the page faces. Directly or indirectly,
we all own and pay for these materials.
