   WE ARE CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR A HIGHLY MOTIVATED DOCTORAL STUDENT STARTING IN THE SPRING 2009 WHO IS INTERESTED IN RESEARCH IN THE AREAS OF METABOLIC CONTROL AND CELL DEATH/CELL DEGRADATION (for more information, see OPEN POSITIONS in the menu)



A Drosophila molecular genetics lab at the University of Arkansas. We work on different aspects of gene regulation, using a combination of genetic, cytogenetic and biochemical approaches.

In particular, we are interested in:

   Gene control by steroid hormone


   The role of chromatin structure in gene regulation
